FANATICAL ABOUT FELINES DAY
We’re launching a new experience which might interest you if you fall into the “fanatical about felines” CAT-egory!
On a normally closed weekday we’ll open for a maximum of 10 adult participants (plus one or two guests - age 14+ only, extra charge applies) for a private and privileged behind the scenes tour of some areas of the zoo, concentrating on the cats, the experience will allow the 10 special guests (age 18+) to hand feed one of our big cats tiger, lion or snow leopard. You’ll literally be able to get as close as a whisker!
Itinerary
Gates and car park open at 11 am, welcome hot drinks and a little introduction about the work we do. Free to wander around and enjoy the animals all by yourselves.
12.15pm The cat feeders will begin their experience (their guests will be able to watch)
After the feeding experience we’ll provide you with hot or cold drinks and a light lunch.
Enjoy the privacy of the zoo until 2pm.
First come first served… however if not all the places are sold you may find you have the whole zoo to yourself!
For Health and Safety reasons and due to the range of activities being undertaken, the keeper experiences involving big cats are only available to those over 18 years of age.
